Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MyHelperPro platform (“MyHelperPro,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using the platform you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of the Platform
MyHelperPro is a technology platform that allows users to create profiles and discover independent service providers.
MyHelperPro does not provide services directly and does not employ service providers. The platform functions solely as a marketplace and discovery tool connecting customers with independent providers.
Any service agreement, negotiation, communication, or transaction occurs directly between customers and providers. MyHelperPro is not a party to agreements between users.
Listings are created by users and do not constitute endorsement, certification, verification, or recommendation by MyHelperPro.
2. Independent Contractor Status
Providers using MyHelperPro operate as independent businesses.
MyHelperPro is not an employer, staffing agency, labor contractor, joint venture partner, or representative of any provider.
Providers are responsible for their own business operations, including licensing, insurance, taxes, compliance with laws, and service performance.
3. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for evaluating providers independently before engaging services.
MyHelperPro does not screen, supervise, control, or verify providers unless explicitly stated.
4. Platform Role
MyHelperPro does not negotiate, manage, enforce, or supervise agreements between users.
All scheduling, pricing, and service arrangements are determined directly between customers and providers.
5. Beta Platform Notice
MyHelperPro is currently operating in beta.
Platform features may be incomplete, unstable, modified, or removed at any time.
Messaging, booking systems, payment processing, and automated service introductions are not currently provided by the platform.
6. Background Checks & Documentation
Providers may voluntarily upload licenses, credentials, or certifications.
MyHelperPro does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of any documentation unless explicitly stated.
7. Accounts & Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old.
You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
8. User Content
Users are responsible for the legality and accuracy of all content they post including descriptions, images, credentials, and reviews.
By submitting content you grant MyHelperPro a license to display, store, and distribute that content within the platform.
9. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Engage in unlawful conduct
- Harass or exploit other users
- Attempt to disrupt platform infrastructure
- Copy, scrape, or harvest platform data
- Impersonate another person or business
10. Platform Enforcement
MyHelperPro reserves the right to remove listings, suspend accounts, or restrict access to users who violate these Terms.
11. Third-Party Services
The platform relies on third-party infrastructure providers including hosting services, authentication systems, and payment processors.
MyHelperPro is not responsible for outages or errors caused by third-party services.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyHelperPro shall not be liable for personal injury, property damage, financial loss, emotional distress, or disputes arising from interactions between users.
In no event shall MyHelperPro’s total liability exceed one hundred dollars (100 USD) or the amount paid to the platform within the previous twelve months.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyHelperPro, its owners, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from your use of the platform.
14. No Warranty
The platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
MyHelperPro makes no guarantees regarding platform availability, accuracy of listings, or uninterrupted access.
15. Force Majeure
MyHelperPro shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, outages, government actions, or technical failures.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes between users must be resolved directly between the parties involved. MyHelperPro is not responsible for mediating or resolving service disputes.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes involving the platform shall be resolved in courts located in Stanislaus County, California.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between users and MyHelperPro regarding use of the platform.
20. Changes to Terms
MyHelperPro may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
